Henry Melton Hesse

Henry Melton Hesse was active/lived in California, Colorado, and Hawaii. He is known as a painter, lithographer, and teacher. By the early 1930s Hesse had moved to Los Angeles where he studied with Paul Sample, Millard Sheets, and at USC. Working in a Regionalist style, he painted urban scenes of Los Angeles and landscapes of the surrounding area.
