Anne Dodge Bailhache

American, (1880–1968)
Anne Dodge Bailhache was born in Lancaster, PA on June 26, 1879. Bailhache was a resident of San Francisco during the 1930s and 1940s. She founded and was director of the Montalvo Foundation in Saratoga, CA from 1939-48 and then moved to San Diego where she was director of the Coronado Art Association. She died there on March 28, 1968. Painting in oil and watercolor, her work includes still lifes, landscapes, and portraits.
