Edgar Bissantz

Edgar Bissantz was born in Wichita, Kansas on August 8, 1901. He attended Cornell University where he studied architecture. Following school Bizzantz traveled extensively in Europe, visiting Italy, France, Germany, England, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and Turkey. After Bissantz’s European travels, he found work as a designer in the United States under the Californian architect Roland E. Coate and then for the architecture firm of Allison & Allison. By 1939 Bissantz was the Master Planning Architect for the San Francisco City Planning Commission.
