Charles Lakosky

Charles Lakofsky was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and trained at the Cleveland School (now Institute) of Art, after which he earned an M.A. in Ceramics at Alfred University and an M.F.A. in Ceramic Design at Ohio State University. For 35 years, he taught art at Bowling Green State University, during which time his exquisite studio pottery (often in a reddish stoneware clay) and wheel-thrown porcelains won numerous prizes, in the United States and abroad, and began finding homes in both public and private collections.
