Suiko Itô

Ito Suiko is the art name of Ito Yoshiharu. Born in Kyoto, Japan, Ito Suiko studied ceramics under Ito Tozan I and Ito Tozan II. He established his own kiln in the Gojozaka area of Kyoto in 1931. In 1964 he became a judge for the prestigious Nitten show, held annually in Japan.
