Maynard Dixon

American, (1875–1946)
Maynard Dixon was an American artist whose body of work focused on the American West. He was married for a time to American photographer Dorothea Lange. Dixon is considered one of the finest artists having dedicated most of their art on the U.S. southwestern cultures and landscapes at the end of the nineteenth century and the first half of the twentieth century.
